This seems like it should be a newbe question but can't find info
anywhere. Simply, we've plugged an S-Vid cable between TV and Shuttle
but cannot enable any video to the TV.

Have loaded the latest ProSavageDDR drivers. The S3Display tab shows a
monitor, DVI, and TV but the latter two are grayed and not selectable.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Bob

The TV icon is greyed because it has not detected the TV being connected.
It detects it by a termination resistance from the TV socket. If you are in
the UK, then often the first TV SCART socket does not support S-Vid, you
need to use SCART socket 2.
On some TVs you may have to enable S-Vid for the socket in the TV set-up
menu.
When you do get it working, you may be disappointed with the picture
quality, I found on my TV, there was very little option for adjusting the
picture position and size so I bought a cheap Radion 9200SE card, which
provides a slightly better picture and has more options for adjustment.
