i can't find beam rider in the list of mame games eather.

it is a game that i use to play on the tandy trs shack 80 and i have the
rom on tape. i don't have an electronic tape recorder to rip it to my
computer. and even if i could, i wouldn't have a cleu haw to create a
mame rom from it.

FWIW, you're probably going to need MESS, not MAME to play that game.
MAME is strictly arcade games, but I believe MESS will emulate a
trash-80. I haven't done very much with MESS, though, so I have no idea
if it'll run your game or not.

I don't know where to get your game, either. Although, I'd be very
surprised if someone hasn't come up with some sort of a hack for dumping
cassette data into a PC. It may be easiest just to find a way to dump
it yourself.
