Anyone know if the SS51G V2 will handle the power rqmts of the Radeon 9800?
I was thinking of swapping our a Geforce 5600 Ultra with the Radeon 9800
from my desktop. Will this be a much faster rig? I typically only run my
LCD at 1024x768x32 for games like BF 1942, Halo demo, Call of Duty, Star
Wars Battleground and Star Wars Battlefront.

I did a web search and found a page on shuttle site where it implies the
9800 is no problem, running full load for 3 days.

I run a 9200 in my SS51G, its just fine but I do realize its no 9800. The
SS51G is a great box. Any chance you want to part with your clear
faceplate? I need one.

Dan,

Thanks for the info. Well, I would part with my clear faceplate if I could
find one of those lighted ones. Shuttle doesn't seem to sell them anymore.
I was tempted to buy some small LEDs and insert them in drilled holes in the
faceplate to light it up. Not sure about the electronics side of the house
like do I need to add a resistor, parallel vs series, etc. Been too long
since my college days.
