software from a connected pc

First you have to install ActiveSync on your computer. Then you can plug
your Pocket PC to this computer and it'll allow you to create a partnership.
Then you can select what will be synchronised (e-mail, contacts, tasks,
calendar, files).

You can then install programs on your Pocket PC. Run the installation
program and it'll automatically copy the files to your Pocket PC when it's
connected to your computer.

Sometimes you can download small files with .cab extension. In this case
copy this file to your device and open the File Explorer. Find the file and
tap it once. This will install the program.

You can see the contents of your Pocket PC from your computer. Simply open
the Windows File Explorer or open ActiveSync and click the button Explore.
Of course your device should be plugged at this time.
