I went to turn on my computer and it made a snap, crackle & pop sound.

Something audibly loud sounded off in my computer as I went to boot up.

Any ideas? I'm lost

AS another said, send it back to Gateway, they still might
honor the warranty. Call them on the phone and ask to speak
with a CSR supervisor. You should a get a return
merchandise number/ticket.
