The first platform game ever?, I have it on a emulator for my pc and I think it still got very good playability!

I'd go 50/50 on metroid/zelda. But either way, the snes versions ruled above the nes and n64 versions...

i just dug out my old super nes and am playing super metroid. god i love that game. also the legend of zelda link to the past will be next, although the n64 version of zelda i thought was far superior.
