Hi all,
I had both Skyscape's DrDrugs and Stedman's Medical Dictionary
installed on my SD card until two Fridays ago. When I used ActiveSync
to Sychronize, there were new versions of these two programs to be
installed, so it started the process. It automatically uninstalled
both products and began the sequence to install the updates. Problem
is that Wwen I select not to install to the Main Memory and choose the
Storage Card, only the necessary .cab files load to the Storage Card's
root directory. When I click on the .cab files the programs install
onto the internal, main memory and these two programs are monsters. I
don't have enough space to run them from internal memory. I've tried
different ways to get these on the storage card (iPAQ 4150 with a 512K
SD Card, SansDisk), but nothing works. I have even tried to manually
move the directories and change the shortcuts to point to the new
location, but when I try to run the program, it tells me that no Data
file could be found and that I need to install the Data files. The
data file is there, in fact, that very directory worked fine when on
internal memory. I've been in contact with SkyScape for the last three
days via phone and while they seem to be trying to help, I am losing
confidence that they can. Interestingly enough, they were able to
recreate the same issue on an in house iPAQ @ SkyScape, but still have
offered no solution.
Has anyone else seen this or found a solution. Please help.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.
