I have tried two different usb wireless mice. Both have the same problem with
install. Using a dell laptop with xp home. When i plug the usb receiver in,
new hardware detected occurs. Install wizard pops up and I click install, I
get a warning that these devices do not have ms code approval (language to
that effect), as for CD, which they do not have. I click on the second
option to install anyway (also with recommendation from a tech) they will not
install. Device manager shows the wireless usb device with a yellow
exclamation mark.
Any suggest on what to try.
thanks
ron

Have you been to the mouse manufacturers website to download the drivers?

I have talked to manufacture support with no results. There are no drivers
to down load, they say it should work.
Being I have tried two different mice, with same result I think there is a
problem with the OS and usb port install. I have two usb ports both gave the
same result.
