I know that Windows 2000/2003 Server is primarily used for DHCP addressing.
But can DHCP Server be ran off Windows XP Pro OS?

I don't believe XP has the DHCP service built into it. For a cheap solution
you might want to consider a small router with built in DHCP. You can pick
one up on ebay for $5-10.

Greetings

You will have DHCP enabled automatically as a part of ICS if you are using
Internet Connection Sharing with XP.

Hope this helps
