i'm hooked up with a wireless network. but i'm getting bad connections. sporadic. here's what i have.....

the hub is a d-link 713, ieee 802.11b, wireless gateway/firewall with a100m range.

i have a d-link 11Mbps pcmcia wireless adaptor for my notebook. it has a 100m range/dynamic auto-sensing configuration.

d-link support suggested their access point as a solution. http://www.dlink.com/products/wireless/dwl1000ap/
the problem is that it must be wired to the hub.

can anyone offer other third party options THAT ARE WIRELESS? do these relay units require configuration settings. i
know squat about all this stuff, so the simpler the better. thanks
