SATA/RAID Controller 82801 GR/GH

When i try and load Windows 7 to a Raid 1 it sees the drive but reports an error that it cannot create a new system partition or find an existing system partion. See stup log files for more information.

I found the problem. Even though it showed the drive I wanted to install to, because it was not the first controller in the boot order with drives on it it would not install. I had to make sure that the Intel raid controller was the first controller in the boot order and then it installed without issues.
