I recently installed XP Service Pack 2, and most of my networking problems
seemed to be solved, except for the most aggravating.

I'm running Linksys router and adapter on a "G" network, so I have a
gateway connection to the Internet.

When I boot the system, I sometimes get the gateway configuration, but most
of the time I get a direct connection through the adapter and router.

After a few minutes, even though activity is clearly occurring, Microsoft
drops the network, and I can only get the connection back by rebooting.
Nothing in the Microsoft wzc software will reconnect me to the network.

Anybody have a suggestion for solving this?

Thanks.

Earl
