WinXP Task Pane Mix-Up

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware (More info?)

Just recently I noticed the task pane in most of my folders (my docs, my
music, etc.) has changed to picture tasks instead of the default task
pane for those folders. I cannot customize the folder using view
->customize this folder.

Does anyone know a way out of this situation? Perhaps a registry fix
for the problem?
