Hp psc 2170 printer seems to be feeding paper unevenly and after a terrible screach half way through the page it comes to a complete stop. I have to remove the page and start all over and the same thing happens. I've cleaned the wheels that feed the paper without any change in the performance. At times it will print 10-20 pages without a problem but then the same thing happens again and again and again. Any ideas?

internal parts or shafts, belts are worn out. It is usually cheaper to buy a new printer then repair an old one.
Or sometimes a torn piece of paper may be jammed inside the mechanism.
