I have a Dell WinXP computer connected to a wireless network using a Linksys
Wireless B USB Network Adaptor. A Linksys Wireless B Broadband Router is in
another room connected by cable to a Dell Windows 95 machine and to a cable
modem.

Probably once per every 1 to 3 weeks we lose signal between the machines,
with the XP machine losing Internet connection. Today we lost network
connectivity, and the Internet, but it still seems to be connected to the
network with a good signal?!? The message is "limited or no connectivity."
The W95 machine connected to the router still sees the Internet.

I am not sure what started the problem, but I was downloading and installing
a Java update when the wireless network icon in the tray changed from
connected to not.

This is what I tried, nothing helped:
1. Repair command a few times for the wireless network
2. Unpowered then repowered the router and W95 computer
3. Unpowered then repowered the cable modem, router and W95 computer
4. Uninstalled/reinstalled the wireless network adapter
5. Reverted to the restore point for the day before (when things were working)

In the past, one of these operations would work. Any suggestions?
