Ive got a Asus A7N8X-E deluxe mobo
athlon xp 2600+
512mb kinsgton ddr333 ram
radeon 9800 pro
audigy 2 zs

etc
etc

on stock settings ( 166fsb / 166 ddr 11.5 multiplier = 1.92ghz ). 3d
mark 2001se results in about 14500.

the highest i could get it to run stabily at is 189fsb / 189 ddr 11.5
multiplier = 2.19ghz ), 3d mark gets about 16445.

Seems stable enough, ran both 3dmarks and had a go of UT2004 with no
problems. CPU temp is 63 degrees c after ut2004

Im scared of killing my mem or cpu though so i have reset everything
to stock speeds, just tried out of curiosity really.

How far off is my results from what i would get with a 3200+ and ddr
400 ram?

thanz

Don't worry, I've got a mobile Barton 2.4 on a DFI Infinity ... and the
highest I could get it to run stably is 245 x 10.5 = 2.57 GHz

Just goes to show how good the old nVidia ti4 series is. I'm getting 11,546
with a ti4200 on a 1800+ OC'ed to 2.1Ghz.

Change your ram to good quality PC3200 c2.5 or better and you'll see a big,
big difference. I'm not surprised your scores are low, you are crippling
your cpu with that PC2100 memory.
