Forum Computer Peripherals : Printers refills for HP 2210

I bought cheapo refill cartridges for the HP 2210. Now the color is
completely off most of the time (everything is magenta) and the black
and white pages have a shadow at the bottom part of the page
(especially horizontal rules; I always end up with two, instead of
one).

Do I have to resort to buying expensive original cartrides? Does
anyone know if there are good non-HP cartridges or refill ink sets
that will work with the printer?

If you mean the PSC 2210, I have a PSC 2110, which uses the same
cartridges. I've been refilling my own with great success with the Ink
Tec refill kits. In fact, I've had greater success with the tri-color
cart than with any other that I've tried. As long as you're careful when
refilling the tri-color cart not to overfill any one color, you should
be fine. Overfilling can cause the ink of one color to be contaminated
with another.
