Sound Device Problems! Please Help!

Try Windows Update and see if there is an updated sound driver on there, or
if you tell me the model of your computer, I may be able to point you in the
right direction to download it

Mate, we will do what we can for you, but if you're rude, things tend to
grind to a halt.

Now.
Go Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager.
Expand the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" tree.
Delete all the files obviously to do with your sound card. For example if
it has the word Creative in it you would delete it because it relates to
your sound.
