Local Disk {C:} Images is Read Only?

Hi-

I have some images in a picture folder that I would like to transfer onto a
CD-R. I am using a Combo DVD/CD-RW Drive. The procedure did absolutely fine
last time. However, this time I am getting a message saying that the images
on my Local Disk {C} is read-only and cannot be recorded to a CD-R disc. I
also get a note saying that a writable CD is a compact disc that can be
converted to a Conventional or Audio CD by a CD recording drive (CD-R or
CD-RW).

If you know what adjustments I would have to make, please let me know.
