Installed driver for Canon Pixma iP1000 with USB connection. The
installation created a USB port (in Printer properties). Device Manager also
showed something like USB printing device under the USB controllers.
Problems: After driver install printer works fine as long as the computer is
not turned off. If computer is restarted the printer can't be used anymore,
when the printer is turned on/ USB cable connected to comp, it won't be
recognized (USB unknown device - controller malfunction , etc). Printer
driver can be reinstalled and it will work again until the computer is turned
off again. Does anyone have similar problem with Pixma driver or USB device
and have solution to it?

Thanks
