hi, i was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out

its been a few years since i had to build a PC and now its upgrade time
and i am little rusty, i was wondering if someone can check the system i
want to get see if there are any problems.

If you go to www.ebuyer.com and go to the english location, then these
are the product codes

52057
54270
58432

I am pretty sure it will be ok I am using DDR400 and the bard accpets
that its a socket 754 for the 754 ping AMD64 3400+ and i have an ATX
case but i dont know if it will fit, as it has a larger sockey i dont
know if the board is any bigger. Anyone know, my board is a standerd
socket A but i am hopiug i wont have to buy a new case for the minute.
Just wanted someone to check for me befor i spend £600 on it.

thanks

The Gigabyte GA-K8NNXP will support the Athlon 64 3400+, and the Corsair RAM
that you've chosen suits both of the aforementioned.

You say that you're upgrading from your current socket A board, and using
your ATX case (which is fine for the new system). Questions hang over your
other components though, which you haven't stated. For instance, is your
PSU good enough for your new system?

Well i am on a 300W PSU i dont know if that cantake that though, AMD64
sounds like its going to be hungry. MY GeForce 4 ti4200 fits the AGP its
4x AGP but that stillworks in 8x AGP dont it, just not at 8x all my
drives are IDE

Buy a better PSU, your old one will not cope, and could cause damage when it
dies.

Your vid card should be fine.
