Lost my cheap source for Vantec Aeroflow VA4-C7040's--the site Wes
pointed us to. I only bo't 4 at the price of like $13, shipped.
What's a comparable performer to the Vantec & its price? Want a
dependable fan, as I don't wish to lose a cpu! Also, if it were a tad
quieter than the Vantec, and a tad shorter than
60mm............and.......reckon I'd better stop dreaming. I'd really like
comparable performance at comparable price of ~$15, shipped. Thx in
advance, sdlomi2

The TR2-M1 is a lot quieter than the Aeroflow. It's not quite as good as a
performer, but as quite as it is I guess that's to be expected. I'd use it
on any AMD cpu though also. It's a lot bigger than the Aeroflow though.

I use the standard fan that came with my Barton 2500. It is quiet, runs at
3375 RPM, and keeps the CPU @47 with a case temp of 32 using paste rather
than the pad. (OC to 2200)

Hope this helps,

AR
