I know this is not an AMD overclocking questions but there is so much
knowledge on this list that I had to post it here and hope.
Is there any good reason why I should not use the external power connector
on my Antec True 430 Power Supply to power my D-Link 614+ router which
requires +5volts at 1.5Amps? I hope not as it would be great to be able
to dump the router power supply.
Has anyone done anything similar with this external power connector?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, as long as the voltage is correct and
the PSU has the power to spare.
