Can any one out there help with getting the wizard to stop the error given
after using the sound hardware test. Then the message saying use add/remove
DPVSetup.exe.
I have tried Mr. Microsofts solution to this. It is rubbish, it just does
not fix the problem. Does any one wish to share a sensible solution which
microsoft has not up to this point.

Never heard of that problem, however if its a pci sound card, try moving it to a
diffrent slot on the board. If its integrated sound via the board, open
device mgr,
scroll down to the card, expand the tree,R.click on the
card,select,uninstall,then
restart computer.XP will reinstall at restart.
