I have been using a floppy disk in DRIVE A recently, but today the foppy
disk will not work.

A message comes up saying 'THE DISK IN DRIVE A IS NOT FORMATTED. DO YOU WANT
TO FORMAT IT NOW? YES/NO'

Is it the disk or the drive the problem?

How do I get the files of that floppy?

It could be a little bit of both. Utilization of floppy disk
drives has decreased significantly and quality control in the
manufacturing of floppy disk drives and pre-formatted diskettes
have also gotten poorer. Best way to try to retrieve files from
the floppy is to use a different floppy disk drive...in another
computer system, if available.

Is the drive not likely to be the problem but the disk?
