Is the 2600+ worth the extra $7 (at Newegg)? I know that just because it
has a higher # doesn't mean it'll overclock any better (and sometimes
worse).

(2500+)

Errr...no. The mobile Bartons have different multipliers to the desktop
versions (because they are 133MHz FSB)...On a desktop motherboard they
default to something like 5x multi because the multi is not properly
detected...Not that it matters a jot anyway because they are UNLOCKED !

Without even going into what's technically set out in these chips..

I must say that if someone says
"An orange is orange"
then you cant really counter with
"WRONG a banana is yellow"

Actually, someone said

"An orange is square"
and then he countered with
"WRONG an orange is the same as a grapefruit"

I think thats pretty fair in the fruitbowl debating club.

No, but green oranges shed a different light on the subject...
