I have a Canon MP730 on a windows network and when we try to fax from
a computer on the network (using Word), we get an error (Word
crashes).

The MP730 is connected to one of the computers on the network via the
USB connection. The faxing on the host computer works just fine.

The printer, fax were installed on the client computers via the add
printer option in Windows (found the device on the network etc).

Any thoughts?

One thought I had was that the drivers somehow got messed up.

Is anyone using the MP730 on a netowrk like this?

Thanks in advance

Jim
