If you feel like spending a while screaming at your screen and pulling
your hair out in large tufts before taking to the bottle to drown your
sorrows, try The Irritating Maze. Probably the most perfectly titled game
in history.

Oh god, same frustration here with Scramble ;-/
In 1982, as a young boy at the age of twenty, I used to be quiet good
at this game. Spending lots of coins, but always been able to finish
the task to the base level.
Now, with my fantastic, ordinary f**king PC keyboard, I can't even
finish 2nd level anymore.
But... hey, I'm still able to hit over a hundredthousand points
at Donkey Kong, chewing with my own teeth and going to the toilet
without any help. ;-)

Reactor is a very fun game. I've also been playing the sequel to Berzerk a
lot lately, Frenzy.

Miss Nude World '96, with Hot Pinball a close second.

Land Maker, Go! Go! Mile Smile (if you liked anteater, you'll love this),
Sokonuke Taisen Game, Sotsugyo Shousho (both very different, you'll see!)
If I think of more, I'll post them here.

Since you are German too we didn't meet by accident in an Arcade in
Ludwigshafen? ;-)

It is a PITA, but I sometimes make it behind the fireballs.

Easier to control. Same with Donkey Kong JR. I used to make 300,000 in
the Arcade, but now only make about 100,000 on the PC.

No, never been there. I've been twice in Mannheim, some years ago.
But not for Arcade purposes. ;-)

Months ago on marp I downloaded a recorded file just to playback
and see how to move save through the base level. Really great to
look at... ;-/

I would say that Donkey Kong, controlled with the arrow-keys on a
normal PC-keyboard, is not harder to control than I remember as
it was on the orgin cab with the stick. But that ~20 years ago. <g>

Great, nowadays its nearly impossible to find an old cap. Btw.,
in Mame I recently rediscovered Juno First, great fun and a good
challenge, even on a PC keyboard.

I don't normally like fighters, but Daraku/The Fallen Angels
is pretty good.
