By default, which key is the "Coin in" in Ultimarc J-Pac connected to?

I have got the bugger going nicely except for coin in. I don't know if a key
is being "pressed" when I insert a coin.

Are you new to Mame?

5 and 6 is the same used when playing on your PC with a keyboard. 7 and 8 is
for player 3 and 4 coin-up.

Actually, I've put two coins in the player 1 slot with 5 and been able to
start a 2 player game. :-?

It seems to me like they are interchangeable, at least from my past
experiences.

In some games, particularly Mappy, the 9 key also works to add 1 credit. If
you look in the settings it's not telling the game that it added a coin,
just that the arcade owner is making it add another credit.

Pretty cool. 8-)

Depends on the game. Some games are dependent on which slot you put the
coin in, like Gauntlet. Others don't care, like Galaga.
