Speed increases don't do much. It's raising voltages that cause the most
increase. It also helps to have a decent cooler.

Yep. CPU power is more or less proportional to MHz, but to the *square*
of the voltage.

Your using Speedfan or MBM to monitor it I hope and it it is reading it
from the CPU diode not the MB Socket?
