I have a XP 2600+ thoro, bus 333 MHz, and a mobo Epox 8rda chip NForce2.
I can set cpu multiplier freely between 5 and 12.5, and it's all ok.
But i cant start pc setting cpu multiplier at 13x166 (like an XP 2700+).
What is the problem?
Is the cpu multiplier stopped over 12.5 ?
If yes, can i unlock it? and how?

Thank

Did you raise the Vcore a step or two?
Usually a little boost in voltage to the CPU is needed when OCing them.

Yes, there's something about having access to multis under 12,5 or (12,5 and
over).

Yes. yes. Don't worry about it and just raise the FSB speed. 12.5 times
172 would equal a 2700+. 12.5x180 would be a 2800+. You will/may need to
raise vcore the higher you go.
