I have ts-h552b dvd writer, I went along to the Samsung site and
downloaded thier firmware update program.
It updated my firmware to ts10, I rebooted and now my drive will not
read any disks at all. When I click on my drive a blank window opens,
it will even opens a blank window when the tray is open. I have tried
cd's and dvd'sand it's no use.I have since tried going back through the
firmware numbers ts03 through to ts09, but I can't get it going.
Before I updated the firmware it was working fine, once the firmware
was updated the samsung program informed me the drive wasn't supported
(it didn't say that before it updated).
Can anyone help?, there must be a way to get the firmware working
again!, it's only a few months old.
I removed the drive and here's the infomation.
