I had to do a system restore of my computer(XP Home Edidtion). And i wanted
to save some of my files so it saved my old system files. It took up 4GB and
i want to get rid of it. I've tried deleting it, used the disk cleanup and
did the disk defragmenter. I've tried deleting it in safe mode and nothing
works. You help will be greatly appriciated

No mention of what error message is displayed when this fails. However, you
recently restored the operating system so perhaps this is a permissions
problem. Try taking ownership of the 4GB file. Once that is done, try
deleting it again.

Ok. But if you're getting an "access denied" message, give that ownership
document a try.
