i updated my pionear dvd writer with the new fireware off pionears
website my dvd writer is a pionear 106D i have updated it with the
right fireware but now my dvd will not write at 4 speed i am sorry i
updated it in the first place was working fine until i updated it ? . I
have been told i cant go back to my old fireware & that i am stuck with
the new fireware . ps i have allways used datarite yellow or red dvds to
burn stuff onto & never had any problem burning at 4 speed with them
until now . can anyone advice please this is getting me down

I do believe that your Datarite media "may" have problems with quality
control. Check with www.videohelp.com. This web site list out media
compatibilities and has a FAQ with offers a list of DVD media quality
categories.
