Orinoco Gold vs 3Com OfficeConnect Xjack

Hi all,

I'm looking for a good 802.11b pc card and I'm having problem deciding between these two. I don't see any previous post comparing the two, mainly no mention on the performance of the 3com card.

I've seen a lot of good review on the Orinoco Gold card, but I really like that Xjack on the 3Com card.

Anyone has any experience with the two?
Any other EVEN BETTER suggestion?

I've heard the 3com gets bad reception with the Xjack antenna. I would go with the Orinoco since <A HREF="http://www.netstumbler.com" target="_new">Netstumbler</A> supports it!

I bought the 3com card, and it works great! It gives me good signal (3/5) where my friend's Orinoco Gold cannot decide between (1/5) or (2/5)...

So far, I like it.

I will play with it some more and compare it with Orinoco Gold at other places...

Orinoco Gold gives similar result after my friend updated the firmware for it...

The results are from simple experiments (take two notebook and look at signal strength)... Any pointer to more detail comparison is welcomed...
