Network connected but unable to access the home pc from ot..

it says the network is connected but we cant access anything from the home
computer off the office computer (the same the other way round)
what are we doing wrong?

What versions of Windows are you running. Do you have firewalls enabled on
the individual computers? Are they both members of the same workgroup?

Is this a VPN connection? Please give more detail regarding how your network
is set up.

Hi

If all computers are on the same LAN make sure their Sharing configuration set
correctly.

If this attempt involves over the Internet connection it is much longer “Story”

In order to be safe you need to use Remote Desktop.
