I just installed my brand new Powercolor AGP Radeon 9600PRO with 256 MB RAM
and went to load up Planetside: Aftershock to test it out. The program gave
me an error saying that it needed a graphics card with at least 32 MB RAM to
run and then closed. I checked the Display Properties: Settings: Advanced:
Options: Details and it says Memory Size 256 MB Ram, but my computer is only
showing the 768 Megs I have on the motherboard. How do I get my computer to
recognize the RAM on the graphics card?

Did you disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS? Did you install the
latest drivers from the ATI website? www.ati.com

The correct way to check whether the PC is recognizng the new card is to use
DirectX.

Start, Run, (type) dxdiag (enter)

Memory on the video card doesn't get added to the system memory, so that's
fine. As for why the game doesn't work, I can't help with that; you might
want to check with the game manufacturer to see if it has problems with
newer video cards.
