ive seen both of them, yet they still use fuzzy logic to prove points...

Reply to mrface

Both of them? I'm only talking about one.

I agree that at some point you have to make an assumption, but it seems like there is so much evidence that points that direction it's hard not to come to that conclusion.

Reply to Forlorn

It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration.

There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!

He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"

Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir."

The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?"

"No, sir," continued Ollie.

"No? And why not?" the senator asked.

"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."

"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.

"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.

"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?"

"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked.

"Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered.

"And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator.

"Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."

The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.

By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Also:

Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners."

However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released.
&nb! sp;
Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.
It was censored in the US from all later reports.

Why not blame Clinton & Gore ??? I Need Not Say any More.....

You're alright in my book. I don't care what they're saying about you. You bring up some good info worth reading.

I also blame Clinton and Gore for this bloody mess.

Yes sir... all 1hr&21mins. of it while compelling I have seen just as compelling "Evidence"? of the Kennedy 64 bullet theory and that the ghost of Nixon actually pulled off the explosion at the Waco compound...My only gripe is why you never see the bottom of the ball when they replay the "Emaculate reception"

oh Yea while we're on conspiracies....Marvin Hagler was robbed of his title... Suger Ray did not take the title imo :x

Hey genious- I suggest you stop believing everything that you get in your right wing email inbox and newsletters. Both "accounts" are urban myths and are also largely false.

I got an email from the Republican Party yesterday notifying me that God Himself came down and gave George W. Bush his blessing to be supreme dictator of America for the duration of his life.

Who am I to argue with the big guy? We must immediately ammend the constitution so that Bush can remain in power indefinitely.

Reply to Forlorn

Yeah... didn't you know that God talks to Bush? It's a well known fact. Just like it's a well known fact that Oliver North warned Al Gore about Osama Bin Laden in 1986.

While Loud-mouthed & egotistical...I am not "Totaly" closed minded & will investigate the links you provided & attempt to discern who's propaganda is more palatable to my.. er.. uhh.. hgumph.. conservative views

I fully expected a flame reply... hmm... seems i was wrong.

Reply to mpjesse

he's supposedly going to run again. though, i don't think he stands a chance against rudy.

truth be told, even though I'm a democrat, i'd vote for either one of them over hillary. yes, i do believe a republican will win in '08.

they're both good men. hillary is just a power hungry bitch.

come on... hillary or rudy/mccain? it's a no brainer for anyone who lives outside NY.

Reply to mpjesse

Hillary is going to run for president?

Reply to Forlorn

are you being sarcastic?

if not... yes, she is.

she will lose though.

yeah thers actually a followup to the first one. again alot of fuzy shit going on (imo) to that one as well.

Reply to mrface

Oh, you mean the first and second editions. Got ya. Actually there is going to be a third and final version as well.

Reply to Forlorn

I had heard something about her wanting to, but I didn't know she was actually doing it. I hope she doesn't win the primary, else the democrats will be setting themselves up to lose again.

The sad part is that I think they do it on purpose.

Reply to Forlorn

Maybe she spotted a loop-hole in "The Patriot Act" that will allow her to ram her health care bill up our collective rectums.

And before you try to give credence to the afore mentioned "Health Care Bill" ask a Canadian how many doctors they train up there beat feet accross the border in response to their national health care plan :)

Thanks for bursting my bubble (puts hands in pockets looks down & kicks at the dust)

But Gore is still a coffin dummy in my book

Reply to AilingBlackLab

I would have voted for MCain the first time around, but big oil and Bush beat him out. Although every G O P member continues the mantra of Clinton and his screwing a person in the White House, is nothing compared to the screwing the whole Nation is getting under the Shrub !!! Just my personal opinion !!

Reply to CHHunter

I never thought Bush would beat McCain in the primary. But you're right; it pays to have friends in big oil.

I know one thing: the country would be a hell of a lot better off w/ McCain at the helm. Esp. in the past 6 years.

Reply to mpjesse

As a non-American, I'm glad McCain didn't win. Not because I care about internal US politics - I don't really - but because McCain has some sort of agenda against my country. (As well he should, probably.)

Reply to Snorkius

what's his agenda?

seriously... i've never heard that before. doesn't mean it's not true though. ;-)

Reply to mpjesse

I don't want to bother myself with finding links but I guess the media here is more concerned with such statements from potential presidents, than it is in the US.

Regardless, those hypocritical comments really piss me off.

Reply to Snorkius

I would say that in the US, the exact opposite is true. There's a common saying in US politics:

"Watch what you say, not what you do."

9/10 times that's true.

Reply to mpjesse

I meant that very few US citizens, if any, care about McCain's stance on Russia (or any other country for that matter - except maybe Iraq). And why would the media cover anything the public doesn't care about?

I for one don't believe he has an agenda against your country...Your "Formrer" government definately. Currently I would think he's as relaxed as most average Americans that the tensions between our two countries are for the most part resolved.
Unless you know something I don't about the state of affairs of your country's nuclear materials security...from what I can gather thats the last issue of tension.

Reply to AilingBlackLab

Hey Snorkey.... See if you can club a few friends & drag them in here I for one would love to hear as wide a spectrum of opinions from inside Russia on a range of topics. As you must realize pre 1990 perceptions from both our perspectives were cloudy at best ,media tainted & in some cases just flat out wrong.

I don't. He's been lying the whole time and even the other members
say he was nuts and they couldn't trust him. One went so far as to change
