My computer freezes on and off

Sorry about the spelling errors.

Hello,
I have a problem that I hope can be fixed.

After my computer has been on for a while, it will freeze for a period
for about 10 seconds. Then it will be fine for a minute. This will
repeat until I turn off my computer. As it freezes, I can still type
and it will appear when the computer unfreezes.
Someone please help me, it is very frustrating when i try to do work.

Make sure your computer is set to let windows manage your memory. Also try
slowing down your hardware acceleration.

Mr. Schloicka's advice is fine, except that it probably has nothing to
do with what is causing the OP's problems. It sounds very much like
something (like malware) is running in the background, perhaps sending
out spam.

Dan - please first ensure that your computer is completely clean:

what is running in the background:
