I know this is a repeat of a prior thread, however my problem is
slightly different.
2 days ago I noticed that my DVD drive was missing from the computer.
Since then I've tried the CdGone.zip file and whatnot.
The drive still works on my laptop, its picked up in Devices Manager
but with an exclamation mark next to it: "Windows successfully loaded
the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware
device. (Code 41)".

My laptop hasnt fallen or been hit in 2 months since I bought it, and
I'm totally clueless about what to do. Any help would be much
appreciated.
