Hello All

What does "Toggle passive" do in Qusnetsoft NewsReader 2.2.0.8? I know what
passive FTP is, but not passive NNTP.

Right...

"Toggle Passive" causes a subscribed group to be passed over when
initiating the compressing and syncing (headers and/or articles) process.
This is sort of opposite some newsreaders (Ink Spot for one) where a group
has to be selected before the syncing process is applied to it. By default,
Qusnetsoft syncs all subscribed newsgroups unless you tell it not to.

The help file for 2.2.0.8 does cover this under the item called
Subscription List.

A better choice of word, in English, would be 'suspend' rather than
'passive'.
