Don't know of anything freeware, depending on what you are copying you will most likely have to use different programs.

I kind of doubt that discussing the practice of pirating video games is acceptable use of these forums.
 
I thought about saying that, but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Some people do honestly make backups of their legal games, I do.

Anyways, until he starts asking how to burn an CD image he got from Kazaa, I'll let it go.

good point, it is actually legal to copy your own game for your own use. I would think it should be illegal to make it difficult actually.

and I like the jump to the pirating accusation, even though we have no idea why he wants to copy what very well may be perfectly legal

Yeah, I actually use copies of stuff quite often. I have a few old Need For Speed games that have been used so much they are starting to get to scratched to use the originals reliably.

Also I like to use copies at LAN games and such, that way when I have several games with me at once, I don't have to worry about being careful with them, I can just set them down wherever. Not to mention I can throw all the copies in a paper sleeve, and reduce the amount of junk I have to carry.
