Patch for ViewSonic V37 Serial Port Problem when upgrading..

I saw many posts on this problem but didn't see any body posted a
patch. ViewSonic released a patch for this problem. It worked for
me. It's not posted on ViewSonic website so I uploaded the patch to

Do they provide information about which V37 versions this is designed to
work with? The V37 that I have doesn't have any trouble with the serial
port -- it uses Windows Mobile 2003. I suspect that this fix is for the
Pocket PC 2002 version?
