Hi,
I've recently brought an AMD 3200 Venice and 1GB Corsair PC4400-C2.5.
Its goin to eventually replace my AMD socket 940 FX51, which is a shame
cos thats a kick-ass cpu.
Anyway - I'm not sure which MoBo to buy - its definitely going to be
NF4 based and I'm really looking at DFI UT series as its overclocking
potential should meet that of my RAM specs- rather than my usual Asus
purchases.
The three Dfi lanparty UT NF4 series MoBo's are:
Ultra-D
SLI-D
SLI-DR
They have a price difference between them and although I know that the
Ultra-D doesnt do SLI (which I'm not bothered about) - I'm more
concerned about what the other differences are, in particular regarding
overclocking? for example I know that the NF4 Asus A8N-Sli Premium has
more O/C options than the Deluxe/Standard.
Please someone with experience let me know what benefits I will see
from paying more money?

Hi
In terms of overclocking they are all the same, all have the same bios options with reg
voltages etc
If you don't require SLI and dont need the raid of the SIL3114 chipset(in my
opinion the NF4 chipset has better raid performance anyway) then get the Ultra D

Thanks for your advice and also the link, t'was exactly the sort of
review I needed.
I'm going to purchase the SLI-D as I might just decide to go SLI -
anyway for £20 extra it will make selling on easier. I really wanted
the best performance / bios.. so thanks for your time! :¬)
