Viruses are now appearing that use the ITS Protocol Handler vulnerability
in Windows operating systems. It makes use of Outlook Express, whether or
not you use it as mail program or newsreader. No patches out; the only
work around is to delete or rename several registry keys, which reduces
functionality of Windows Help files, among other things. See
http://www.us-cert.gov/other_sources/viruses.html . The exploit allow a
virus to execute arbitrary code and do almost anything with the system.
