Dual boot 64bit and 32bit

is it possible to dual boot windows 8 32bit and windows 7 64bit on another partition or my original MBR is only for 64bit?

An MBR is not like an OS, it doesn't have a 32 or 64-bit flavor, lol.

But I would be curious to know why you want to do this? I don't see any advantage in having dual partitions anymore. As far as I know every software running on Windows 7 will also work in 8 and vice versa, so choose only one and stick with it. Or if you want to test Windows 8 just for fun you could use a virtual machine instead (like Ms VirtualPC or Sun VirtualBox, both are free).
