Does anyone have any of these that works in MAME 0.96? I've tried a copy
each of paperboy.zip an paperbr1.zip and neither of them were
complete...although the latter worked on Andreas's xmame, according to him
in an email conversation we have going, all the times he tried to email it
to me it didn't work. So does anyone have a WORKING copy of Paper Boy that I
could use? If it's residing on the Net then put a link to it, otherwise post
here and I'll arrange for you to email it to me.
Thanks in advance.

Please do not request that ROMS get posted in here, this is not a binary
group. If you want someone to upload a ROM it should be done to
alt.binaries.emulators.mame If for some reason that is not feasible you
can use http://www.yousendit.com to send 'emails' up to 1 gig. (actually
its more like a temporary FTP site, very convienent and FREE.

I also know of a site like that called sharebigfile.com. But I am not
looking for a binary to download from a binary group, as many of you guys
already know I am among the doofs who use Outlook Express :-( until I will
reformat this computer and clean off this unremovable virus that is forcing
me to do use OE. And since OE does not handle binaries, of course I can not
accept binaries. So I do not want someone to upload a rom, just to send me
an email with an attachment on it, anyway I have my rom so that is all
settled. Someone was very kind and sent it to me...I replied with my thanks
via email and will post it here too.
I figured this place was the perfect place to ask someone to email me a rom,
which is quite different than posting a binary.

Speaking of servers, does anyone know of a binaries server that carries
alt.binaries.emulators.mame and allows posting? I've been searching on the
internet for it for a while now but still haven't found it. Can anyone help
with a FREE server that requires NO SIGNUP? That's my only requirements. :-)
sorry if that makes it sound like a sales pitch. :-)

You're paying for an isp that doesn't carry binaries. Why not pay for one
that does? Its cheaper than you think.

There's only one ISP that offers DSL in our area, and we don't get cable TV
to our house, so no cable either. If I wanted binaries I'd have to go back
to dialup which I am not doing.

Perhaps I am being too simplistic here or I have misinterpreted
something but.......
Why can't you simply use your present ISP and subscribe to a pay news
provider ?

If you go with Astranews you can purchase a 25Gb block for $10

You purchase bandwidth as and when needed and your purchased bandwidth
