Running a 533Fsb on a 400 FSB MB

I have a intel D845WN motherboard with PC133 memory, runing a P4 1.7
400FSB, can i upgrade to a Intel P4 2.6 533 FSB/ 512

No, the D845WN only supports 400FSB processors. Had a friend with the same
board with a 1.7 Williamette and upgrading to a 2.0A Northwood was a pretty
good boost.

With the P12 BIOS, you can upgrade your processor to a 2.6 400FSB/512
Northwood, but the chips are hard to find...

ComputerGeeks has a 2.2 for 116USD

Pricewatch lists a number of suppliers claiming to have them with the least
expensive (OEM) coming in at $175, including shipping.
