They're pissing me off. Everything is becoming video because the average idiot doesn't like to read.

I prefer to read the news over hearing someone give me a 30 second run down on it.

Why do people read the newspaper instead of listen to it? because they prefer to read. The damn news is dumbing it down and it's pissing me off.

I prefer to read cuz it gives almost (not always) all the facts. In a news report on television they cut so much vital stuff out because of the time restriction...it is sad.

oh, and the paper has funnies :D

I didn't mind when they did Video / Read.. but now they're skipping out on the Read portion and you can only watch it.

I don't want to watch it. I want to read it.

I hate watching TV as is and watching the news never tells you enough about any damn subject.

I prefer to read the paper. Like Cheez said, in news casts a lot of information is omitted because of the time restrictions. Additionally articles published by the AP tend to be less... biased.

The only "news magazine" I find worth watching is 60 minutes.
