I was going through my crap the other day and I found a letter to myself that I wrote in 6th grade. Apparently I had aspirations of being a famous director. Now I'm a tech support guy at a mortgage company....
I think that if the 12 yr old me ran into the current me, I would be kicking my own ass for working such a lame job.
What would the 6th grade (12yr old) version of you think about the current you?
I'm tempted to do this again. Write a letter to myself and hide it somewhere so I find it 10 years from now.
I'll pay the traveling fee only if you say that you killed me for believing in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. That way I'll be a martyr and the next thing you know the Church of the FSM will be ruling the world.

done deal, flight from Newcastle(UK) to your nearest airport please preferably first class.
I've actually gotten my dream job...as a kid I always wanted to be an accountant. Jumped around a bit after high school, and here I am! Horray!
Dream job? Accountant? *two ideas chase one another around like a dog after its own tail in Aaron's head* Hmm. That's a bit umm, well, umm. *tries to think of a nice way of putting it* Umm. *quits while he's ahead*
Actually, I love my job. Driving around outside all day. I'll take
rain or snow over an office everytime. Cake schedule, Tues-Fri. Decent
pay, nice beni's. But the 2 best reason's I love my job...
1. Nothing carries over day to day. No meetings, reports, or projects
with due dates. Punch out- it's over. To me that's priceless.
2. Most importantly, there's an all-girl college on my route 8)

well ya...I've always been rather good at numbers, have always been a nerd, and the pay is sweet. Why not!

I thought I would become a Ninja. [/seriously]
I'd give anything to be that care-free again. Anything.
I was such a happy child too. I'm lucky to have such fond memories, I suppose.
I had a new dream job every week, and I've done most of them, so I'd be pretty happy with myself for having tried so many new things. I'm a successful "jack of all trades".
I think the only job that I wanted to have that I haven't tried yet is sumo wrestler, but there's lots of time left for that.......
Yes, 'The Ninja' is what your ex-wife called me after my many escapes over the back fence when you finally had had enough grog down at the Cruiser. [/reminisces]

What the 23yr old version of yourself would think is irrelevant. It is about what the current you is thinks about yourself that matters [/pike]
As pike seems to be MIA on this one, I thought I'd make up for it.
